Climbing Team Rescued French Climber Elisabeth from Nanga Parbat After Stuck on Thursday at 7200 meter

Skardu: French climber Elisabeth is rescued by rescue team at Nanga Parbat. According to sources from basecamp One French women Elisabeth and Polish man Tomek were stuck at Nanga Parbat on Thursday. Elisabeth decided to go down at 6200 meter where they have rescued her. Polish climber Tomek couldn’t be rescued due to bad weather. Rescue team went back to K2 base camp.  The trapped French woman climber is rescued from Nanga Parbat today with the help of four other foreign climbers. The four climbers were at K2 Basecamp for a K2 winter expedition.

The rescue team successfully rescued French climber. A Pak Army rescue helicopter picked them up at the scheduled rendezvous point. Elizabeth is shifted to Islamabad. She is now in a hospital in Islamabad.
