Forbes has named 3 places of Gilgit Baltistan among 10 coolest places to visit in 2019 as part of their annual list. The list is compiled by travel blogger Ann Abel. She included Khaplu Valley , Hunza Valley and Shigar Valley in the list of top ten coolest places to visit in the world. According to Sara Barbieri a specialist with GeoEx, “Explore the valleys of Hunza, Shigar and Khaplu via the renowned Karakoram Highway.”

Barbieri adds, that the hospitality of people, the crystal clear blue water of of Attabad Lake, the centuries old history, the granite towers to greenery, the walking through centuries old-apricot orchard along water channels cut by hand, and the mighty snow-capped peak of Rakaposhi. You must acknowledge there is a grand adventure to be had.
