  1. I would request regarding the few queries.
Will Deosai be accessible from Chilam chocki from second week of June.
What is the road condition. Can I cross Deosai from Chlam to Skardu on 2000 model Corrola X car which have good clearance.
Is there any tent village available at Sheouser Lake or Barha Pani.
    Looking forward for your response.

    1. I recommend that you should travel after the 15th of August, the road through “Astore” is preferable for new travelers due to several reasons: you can see a variety of landscapes, villages and their cultures, bazaars, beautiful scenic places and gradually inclined elevation towards Deosai National Park. it will help you to acclimatize to the elevation and environment. you will get food and resturants in some places like Astore, Gurikot, Gudai, (Chashma Chowki or Eiggah) and at Chilam Chowki. After Chilam you should be well prepared for everything-even aone day trip or night in Deosai. There are tent hotels/restaurants at different spots in Deosai, but quite expensive, and I do not recommend them. be careful not to feed any wildlife-even fish, birds, golden marmots or bears. You will be lucky if you can see any bears during your driving or camping. Winter gears is recommended before and after sunset. There are designated places for camping. Violations of any park rules are punishable, and you might have pay a fine. Have a fun, but help to conserve the endangered species! (especially Himalayan Brown Bear)
